Cut a pattern.

Roll black polymer clay into the log 0.9 cm thick. Follow the pattern for the arm bit.

(pattern is in donwload section of this site)

   
Cut a piece of clay about 1 cm long  from the log  and attach to the shoulder.

Smooth the joint.

   
For the stand: mix brown and yellow polymer clays till marbled.

Make a rectangular 3cm long, 1.1 cm wide and 0.3 cm thick Cover the stand with thin sheet of black clay.

   

Wheel: roll a log from black clay about 0.2 cm thick, cut 4 pieces 1 cm long. Cross them. Attach log of clay all around crossed logs.

Roll 2 tiny balls from black clay and attach to the centre of the wheel.

 

 

   

Cotton reel: roll two logs from black clay 0.6 and 0.3 cm long and 0.3 cm thick. Roll two balls 0.2 cm in diameter. Apply balls to the each side of the longer log. Shorter log put on the top.
   
Needle - piece of thin wire.

Put all pieces together. Put piece of wood under the needle to support the "arm".

If you need a handle - do not forget to make one ;)

Bake for 15 minutes.

   
Paint your sewing machine.
